Bluegrass, Country, and Rock-n-Roll are all words that one could use to describe the music that Galen Martin makes. Galen is a songwriter by nature, and knows how to tell a story that is part southern drama and part modernist reflection, and knows exactly how to tie the two together.

In addition to being a solo acoustic artist, Galen frequently performs around the state with his band The Crutches. 

He was a member of the band The Pinebelt Pickers, a collection of local bluegrass players who can be considered Pineywoods royalty. 

Galen is a highly professional working musician and is actively seeking to expand his performances to new venues.
